Many emotional and attention symptoms overlap. Anxiety can look like ADHD, depression can appear as burnout, and concussion effects may mimic mood disorders. Because treatment depends on the cause, accurate diagnosis is the most important first step.
Below are the most common conditions we evaluate and treat.
ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults can present as distractibility, inconsistent performance, frustration tolerance difficulties, or mental fatigue rather than hyperactivity.
Anxiety often appears as avoidance, irritability, perfectionism, or physical tension rather than worry alone.
Depression may involve low energy, loss of interest, emotional numbness, or difficulty initiating tasks rather than sadness alone.
Athletes frequently experience concentration difficulty, confidence loss, and mood changes after injury even after medical clearance.
Medication is considered when appropriate but is not automatically recommended.
